Our Choirs
Bella Voce
Bella Voce is a classical choral ensemble made up of primarily 9th-11th grade men with a wide variety of singing experience. Bella Voce studies the physiology of the voice while developing proper vocal technique. Curwen sight-reading technique and proper vocal production are emphasized to improve the level of musicianship. Choral literature from a variety of genres and styles is studied and performed. Students this choir are required to perform at all scheduled concerts and extra rehearsals.
Members of this ensemble participate in events such as All-State, Solo & Ensemble, Private Lessons, Musical Theater, and A Cappella. Last year, they performed at the UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Assessment as a combined choir and received Superior ratings. They strive to learn beautiful and challenging treble music that will impact audiences of all ages.
Men's Chorale
Men's Chorale is a classical choral ensemble made up of primarily 9th-11th grade men with a wide variety of singing experience. Men's Chorale studies the physiology of the voice while developing proper vocal technique. Curwen sight-reading technique and proper vocal production are emphasized to improve the level of musicianship. Choral literature from a variety of genres and styles is studied and performed. Students this choir are required to perform at all scheduled concerts and extra rehearsals.

Concert Choir
Concert Choir is the Varsity mixed classical choral ensemble and is an auditioned ensemble. The members of this ensemble shall consist of students demonstrating the highest level of vocal development, Curwen sight-reading methods, musicianship and work ethic. Choral literature from a variety of genres and styles is studied and performed. Students in Concert Choir are required to perform at all scheduled concerts and extra rehearsals. Students in this ensemble are encouraged to take voice lessons privately. Concert Choir students have received numerous awards for All-Region and All-State Choir, Solo & Ensemble, and have received sweepstakes at UIL six years in a row. This year’s ensemble consists of 35 students in all grades, who lead our school in performance, academics, athletics, and most importantly, character. They strive to work together as a group to create beautiful and challenging music that will impact audiences of all ages.
