Flight is a contemporary vocal ensemble made up of men and women in all grades with previous choral singing experience. This ensemble performs at many AHS Choir functions but does not compete. Membership in this ensemble requires an audition for all students and that students be enrolled in a Classical Choral ensemble. Flight meets three times a week for rehearsals during megalunch  For some, Flight is an ensemble that takes them to new heights as a person and challenges them to step outside of their comfort zone. For others, Flight is about gaining experience on stage, becoming comfortable behind the microphone, and evolving into a soloist so that one day they will be able soar on their own as a performer.
